The nice village of Almyrida is at the beginning of the Souda bay, with a
view to the white mountains “Lefka Ori”. The Airport is 30km away, to the
port 15km and if you want to pay a visit to the town of Chania it is only
25km.

move around cheap you can use the public bus connection and the taxi.

bigger supermarkets you can go to Chania.
